Yuuki cup

This review is going to be on the Yuuki soft both small and large sizes.

The small dimensions are 41mm rim 49mm body length without stem and has a 17.5 ML capacity to the holes. Large dimensions are 46mm rim 56mm body without stem and has a capacity of 28 to the holes.

I bought the package that had both big and small cups with the sterilizer container. They arrived 2 or 3 weeks later and the cups were each sealed in a clear plastic pouch without a storage pouch. If you read my last post you may be wondering why I bought both the large and the small and in soft. Well the Yuuki classic is so firm it is nicknamed the rock and I was scared to try it. As for buying the small it was out of curiosity that fueled that one.

The small Yuuki when I “tried it on” I felt the cup slipping down inside me so I knew that small cups are not for me. Now the large cup was just right in diameter but was a tad too long even without the stem. The Yuuki large was firmer than the Fleurcup but still not quite to my desired resistance. So now I had narrowed my prospective new cup to one that is both large and firm.

Party in my pants

This is my Party in my pants review. They can be found here.

I purchased the “free liner if you pay shipping” which it was $2.99 USD for shipping. It was the thong liner simply out of curiosity I rarely wear thongs and especially not that time of the month.

I received a green and orange flannel top with nylon backing and metal snaps. As this is a liner there is no core. It was about 7 inches long and 2 ½ inches long at the widest point clear down to ¾ inch at the smallest.

As for the liner itself it was as comfortable as a thong could be. Having the nylon backing did make it move around and had a rustling sound when I was active. I used this liner as a menstrual cup back-up on my 2nd cycle day. This liner has to be one of my least favorites. Please keep in mind that what doesn’t work for me might work quite well for you.

Fleurcup

This is going to be my review of the fleurcup.

The dimensions of this cup are 46mm rim diameter 52mm body length without the stem and a capacity of 29ML to the holes.

I bought the large violet cup due to the fact that I had a heavy period. Took about 3 or 4 weeks to receive and came in a brown envelope and the customs label stated fleurcup. Well my dad was the one to get the mail and was trying to figure out what was in it but he only knew it was squishy.

The cup itself came without a pouch had a tab stem with little stretch. It has 4 suction release holes 2 clusters of 2 angled towards one another. I would say that the fleurcup has a medium resistance rim and a soft body with amazing grips on it and the stem as well.

I have a mid to low cervix so I have cut the stem off of my cups and that seems to do the trick. This was a good first cup but I found it somewhat hard to get keep from leaking. This got me thinking that I might need a firmer cup.

Sis and bro pad co.

This blog I am going to do a review on my first order of menstrual pads which was from
Sis and Bro Pad co. off Etsy. Which as you probably guessed is a brother and sister company and they are based out of Indiana.

The 8 inch regular pad (left) is 2 inches wide when snapped. It has 3 layers of flannel for the core.
The 9 inch heavy pad (right) is 2.25 inches wide when snapped. It has 4 layers of flannel as the core. These pads are both flared in shape with pointy wings, cotton topped with a flannel core and are fleece backed. The core does not extend to the wings and they only have one snap setting.

The wings themselves are a bit floppy when snapped due to the placement of the snaps and the shape of the wings this caused minor irritation due to the wings bunching up.

I like these pads the width is a good size so it doesn't feel like you're in a diaper, the flare is a decent size and the lengths are perfect for me. I will say that I would definately buy from them again.
